prioritize humanity pledge
As a candidate seeking public office, I solemnly pledge to prioritize and defend the rights and needs of humanity throughout my campaign and future service. In doing so, I acknowledge and affirm,
The United States must not commit, aid or be complicit in acts that may constitute genocide or other grave violations of international law, and I will oppose the use of public funds and resources in support of any such grave violations of international law;
Voters are entitled to complete transparency in all sources of campaign funding including so called “dark money,” and that I will support measures aimed at overturning Citizens United;
Access to food, shelter, and healthcare is a human right;
Human migration is not a criminal activity;
Public safety must be grounded in human dignity for all - prioritizing people over property, militarism and corporate profit.
It is our collective human responsibility to discontinue and repair extractive, destructive, and dominating practices that cause harm to the planet.
The United Nations Declaration on Human Rights (UNDHR) is a foundation for establishing legislation, policies, and practices that prioritize human dignity.
By signing this pledge, I affirm my commitment to putting humanity first in all aspects of my campaign and public service.

As a voter seeking public service figures to elect, I solemnly pledge to prioritize humanity with my vote. Specifically, I commit to:

Prioritize People Over Partisanship: Make decisions guided by the needs and well-being of all people, not by party interests or personal gain.

Listen and Learn: Actively seek out diverse perspectives, listen to others outside of my ecosystem, and remain open to learning and growth.
Champion Equity and Justice: Advocate for policies that reduce inequality, protect the vulnerable, and foster social and economic justice.
Lead with Empathy: Recognize the challenges faced by others and strive to create solutions that reflect understanding and care.
Encourage Civil Discourse: Foster respectful dialogue, even in disagreement, and reject divisiveness, hate, and dehumanization.
