We are omni-partisan, everyday people.

We are artists, organizers, teachers, nurses, caregivers, students, and neighbors. We are united not by party lines, but by a shared, relentless commitment to hope, love, and the freedom of all humanity.

We are the Movement for Freedom — a national grassroots campaign inspired by the leadership, service, and example of Congresswoman Cori Bush. In a moment marked by cruelty, injustice, and repression, we choose to believe that freedom is still possible—and worth fighting for.

Together, we are cultivating a nation of Politivists—leaders who refuse to let freedom be eviscerated.

  • A term coined by Cori Bush, a ‘politivist’ is an activist and politician combined. It is a leader who combines the advocacy and grassroots connection of an activist with the policymaking and institutional power of a politician, using both to amplify the voice of the people and drive revolutionary change. A politivist is not driven by the need for fame, money, or power, but instead by a devotion to transforming the suffering they have experienced or witnessed into improving and saving lives.

  • The Movement 4 Freedom is a campaign spearheaded by Politivist Action PAC. It is a call to action for everyday people to reclaim our power and move towards building a just, equitable and peaceful society for all. While politics is not our only focus, we understand that how this nation is governed impacts every aspect of how our society functions. 


    In the immediacy, we are building community through direct engagements; developing a national nexus of activists and organizations; and recruiting, inspiring, and training hundreds of “politivists” who can run for office, run campaigns, and organize their communities.
